Q: Hyundai Genesis?
I am very excited for the arrival of the Hyundai Genesis. This is a huge step forward for Hyundai and, in my opinion, a real game-changer. I know that it is expected to be released in “Summer 2008″. It is now Summer 2008, and I’m wondering if there is an actual date (or time frame) when the Genesis will actually be available and in dealers. Thanks!
A: I agree with the other poster, they should now be available to purchase at your local dealer. Hyundai’s web page now allows you to view all the details, they didn’t days ago. http://www.hyundaiusa.com/vehicle/Genesis/genesis.aspx I’m going to a Hyundai promotional event at the end of July where they will let us test drive the Genesis and some other brands luxury cars for comparison, should be fun. The starting MSRP is $32250 and fully loaded $40,000 for the V6. The V8 starting MSRP is $37250, but only $41,250 fully loaded. So, the starting price is a bit higher then anticipated probably due to the low value of the dollar. Kinda funny how they almost trick you into getting the V8 though if you want to fully load your Genesis with the $4000 Technology package, but what businessman wouldn’t want a cooled drivers seat?
Q: hyundai genesis?
does anyone know when will the hyundai genesis come out and ow much will it cost
A: Its supposed to start hitting showrooms in June and the base V6 model starts at $29995, the V8 model will be released a few months later and top out around $44000 with all luxury options. The 290+ horsepower V6 is plenty of power for a car this size, but if you got money to burn the 370+ HP V8 would be even better I guess. If you are serious about buying a Genesis sedan, you should contact your local Hyundai dealers and register for updates at http://www.hyundaiusa.com
Q: where can i find a hyundai genesis car without the hyundai symbol?
I want a black genesis car from hyundai, but I don’t want it to have the hyundai symbol anywhere.
i’ve seen one before without it and it looks really nice. what can i do?
A: Just remove the actual ones and replace them with the emblems that looks like “Bentley”. These are available “On-line” for purchase and fit to Genesis model. Are actually the emblems used in South Korea.
Q: Where can i get Hyundai genesis coupe body parts?
I just bought a Hyundai genesis coupe 2.0t on auto auction and it is wrecked so I need a new bumper, left fender and left headlight. I looked trough the internet but i couldn’t find it. Does you know where to find genesis coupe body parts? Can i get it for cheap please?
A: Hyundai Genesis coupe a quite new on the market, Your best bet is try any Hyundai dealerships parts department and check their pricing. You may also want to consider if aftermarket body parts is Keystone Automotive http://www.keystone-auto.com/bodyshops/index.html Hope you find what you need.
Q: Is the Hyundai Genesis an underrated luxury car?
I never hear people mention the Hyundai Genesis when talking about luxury cars yet it was the “2009 North American Car of the Year”. It’s cheaper than the other brands too. It’s also rated pretty highly on Edmunds. Maybe it’s the lack of brand appeal?
A: You never hear it mentioned because like you said it’s only been around for 2 years, while the other luxury brands have been around at least 20 years (think Acura/Lexus/Infiniti) and even they have taken 20 years to prove they could compete with the Audi/BMW/Mercedes crowd. BTW, it is a great car.
Q: Where can I buy HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE Badge In the Philippines?
Where can I buy HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE Badge In the Philippines?

A: Try looking to official Hyundai Dealers and Accessory sellers?

I’m thinking of buying it. Is there anyone who have seen genesis coupe?
How did it look? I know it’s hyundai but reviews for that car seem very good..
A: the car was sold for profiling perposes
Q: Should i get a Nissan Altime VS Hyundai Genesis?
Should i get a 2010 nissan altima coupe or a Hyundai genesis coupe. Both trims are going to be 4 cylinders. Pros and Cons please. I like the fact the Hyundai is a rear wheel but i also like the mpg from the nissan. Thanks in advance!
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net
Q: What’s a good competitor of the hyundai genesis coupe?
dose anybody know of any good car competitor to the hyundai genesis that is also close in price? i thought the honda accord would be a good competitor. let me know of any cars that come to mind and let me know of what you think of the hyundai.
A: A RWD 4 seat coupe. Think V6 Camaro, and V6 Mustang. The V6 Challenger also fits into that description although that’s a larger car.
Q: what primer should i use for a hyundai genesis coupe front bumper?
i scruffed the bottom of my hyundai genesis coupe while driving (hit an uneven patch in the road) and am looking to patch it up. is there any specific type of primer i should use and where should i look for it at? any retail locations? the bumper looks and feels like thick plastic
A: for bumper primer an paint has to have flix adtive . aoto zone will have spray bombs . an should be enough its a small job
Q: Would a carseat fit in a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe?
Would a baby’s carseat fit in the back of a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe?
A: Yes, you can fit 2 in the backseat, good idea to take one to the dealer with you and test it. Then you’ll know if you want to be putting the front seat forward everytime you need to reach the back seat. I’ve seen people do this with sportscars, but most had the car before the kid and buy a more family friendly vehicle later, you may want to consider the Sonata…a turbo version will be released this year!_!
Q: Brand new Hyundai Genesis or a Used Audi TT Coupe?
I’m planning on getting a new coupe, but can’t decide.
Which is a better choice, getting a brand new 2010 model of Hyundai Genesis?
or a used 2000-ish model of Audi TT coupe?
No biases please

A: I would without a doubt go for the Hyundai. I have driven the Genesis (both 2.0 and 3.8 with the 6MT) and they are pretty quick, well-handling cars. The Genesis is not your typical Hyundai. They are solidly built, have lots of road presence and come pretty well equipped provided you get some options. You should also know that Hyundai has one of the best warranties out there. The downside to the Genesis is that if you have to deal with snow, the Genesis only comes with RWD as opposed to the Audi’s FWD or Quattro AWD. You will be virtually unable to use the Genesis in the snow.
Audis of the past have a poor history of reliability and I personally do not like the design of the TT. I have had a 2010 S5 for 9 months and I have already had a number of reliability issues with it, most importantly clutch problems, to less serious (sound system failure, rattles and creaks, clearcoat coming off rims). I do not doubt that you will experience some problems with the used TT. Take into consideration the TT seats only 2, whilst the Genesis seats 4.
Simply put, the Genesis coupe is a hugely better car than a last (and in some ways current) generation TT. It will without a doubt be much more reliable, faster and better equipped. It may cost a little bit more than a used TT, but it is certainly worth the money. I have yet to have read a negative review of the Genesis Coupe so I strongly recommend it.
Q: Is the Hyundai Genesis Coupe the least expensive car with 300 hp?
Yes, I know, the v6 has 306 hp, but this is what I was reading from this review.
http://www.leftlanenews.com/hyundai-genesis-coupe.html
Doesn’t the Chevy Camaro have over 300 hp for the low 20 grand price range?
lol how true bambamdingoling. I can’t wait!
A: the camaro is cheaper like 1 to 3 grand cheaper. the genesis is a tad bit faster. be a v6 hellraising battle once the 2011 mustang v6 comes in the picture.
Q: Does anyone know when the new Hyundai Genesis will be available to the public for purchase?
With a 375 hp engine and a sleek bold look, it seems Hyundai has finally caught on.
A: Hyundai is telling us it will be available this summer. The projected date of release is June 15th. From my years of experience with Hyundai, that means that the release will probably be closer to July 1st.
We already have deposits on 6 of them. Took four deposits the day after the ads broke on the super bowl and two more today.
This will truly be a monster of a car. Hyundai has climbed the mountain and now with the release of the Genesis, it will have made it to the top.
Q: How would you compare the Hyundai Genesis Coupe to the Tiburon?
I’m just curious what you think about the new Genesis Coupe and how it might compare to the Tiburon. Please, no bashing of vehicles, we all have our preferences! lol
I actually mean ‘no bashing’ for people who come on and bash a Tib or other car, calling them pos and all that. But I would like honest opinions, such as which one of these might be better, and why. Thanks!
A: Hahaha I love these questions. I’ll give you a comparison. The Genesis Coupe is more “performance oriented” considering it is an affordable RWD sports coupe, whereas the Tiburon was like the testing waters for Hyundai to see if they can create an affordable coupe. The first 2-door coupe from Hyundai was the Scoupe, which was the predecessor to the 97′ Tiburon. Honestly, the Scoupe was still in the “Pony” era, so that car was crap. And another thing, hopefully you know that the Genesis Coupe is NOT a replacement for the Tiburon, as Hyundai will make a new model that will replace the Tiburon with a slight chance of carrying a different name. It will be surprisingly affordable as it cannot be in the mid-twenties to hinder Genesis Coupe sales.
Tiburon (I’ll be referring to 03′-08′)
- 2.0 I4 w/140 hp
- 2.7 V6 w/172 hp
- FWD
- Price range of I4 models is low/mid-twenties
- Price range of V6 models is high-twenties
- standard equipment (power locks/windows/, cruise control, sunroof, AC etc)
- Smaller sized (Civic coupe size)
- 03′ models had clutch problems
Genesis Coupe
- 2.0T I4 w/ 210 hp
- 3.8 V6 w/ 306 hp
- RWD
- Price range of turbo I4 models is mid/high-twenties
- Price range of V6 models is low/mid-thirties
- Luxury amenities (Bluetooth, navigation/GPS, Infinity audio, push-button start, etc)
- Larger car (same size as G37)
Design-wise, some people say it still resembles a Tiburon. I test drove the V6, and this thing is like a rocket. The paddle shifters feel nice. I still think that the interior quality can be much better because the plastics is just like a step above my Tib, and it feels the same as the Santa Fe my parents’ own.
Overall, I must say the Genesis Coupe is a better car after a test drive, and Hyundai was smart enough to end the Tiburon production in the 08′ because you can get a fully loaded V6 for the base price of a Genesis Coupe V6 or the top of the line Genesis Coupe 2.0T. Both results in a car with greater power, RWD, bigger, and more “performance oriented”. I recommend you go for a test drive. 2.0T or 3.8 V6, you will love the car.
In the end, I still love my Tiburon. I would buy a Genesis Coupe, but I wouldn’t do a trade-in.
