Q: how many miles per gallon does a 2011 kia soul get highway driving ?
I have a 2011 kia soul and since sept . when I bought the soul I average 35 mpg highway not the 42 mpg I was suppose to get.
has any one the same millage?
I drive very conservative not going over 85 kl per hour.

so im looking to buy a kia soul, and they say the best weapon to have when you go to buy a new car is information. so im looking for any good websites on kia souls and prices… im looking to buy the base model with the 122 hp motor manual tranny. so just wandering what y’all paid for your soul, and what price you think i should shoot for walking out of there with. A: Hi! This has been driving me crazy also since I saw the commercial for the first time last weekend and have watched the commercial online numerous times since. LOVE the song!! My daughter actually found the song and group for me with an app on her I-Phone .. she can hold her I-Phone up to the speaker with a song playing and it will tell her all the info about the song. She thought this would be a good test of it. The group is called Goldfish. “Fort Knox”. Q: Can I replace the stock sub in my Kia Soul with a JL audio 8w7?
In other words will it fit? and if so would I need a separate amp for the sub or would the stock sub work with it?…And would any other major modifications need to be done?
A: The JL won’t fit without some modification. It needs a larger mounting hole (diameter), more depth (just over 6-3/4″), and more air volume to operate properly.
There really isn’t any true 8″ aftermarket subs that will simply “drop-in” the same location. The stock sub is called 8″, but it’s actually about a 7.5″ or a 7.75″ sub. you simply cannot fit an aftermarket 8″ sub in the hole back there without some modification to the body of the car.
Even if you enlarge the mounting hole where the stock sub is, you then have the problem of a shallow fit. The factory sub has a pretty small magnet, and most any aftermarket sub, including the 8W7, will have a large magnet which will hit the outer panel.
It’s possible that a “shallow mount” subwoofer would work by just enlarging the mounting hole slightly. This Polk Audio needs less than 4″ mounting depth. There are other shallow subs that may also work.
