Q: How fast is the 2011 ford mustang shelby gt500 svt without a speed limiter?
I know its limited to 155mph,but how fast does it really go? i mean top speed without any limiters? and does it really have 550 horses? i heard it has 450,is that true? i need some expert answers.Thanks.
A: At least 180 MPH, but less than 200 MPH.
Guesstimate given the car’s aerodynamic properties vs. how much power it takes to overcome the wind resistance at X speed, whilst also factoring in the HP peak of the car vs. the gearing of the car.

A: The top speed is electonically limited to 155 mph. I’m sure they already have special flash tunes that will boost that to 200 mph, but that only means you can die faster. LOL

A: Not with the stock summer tires! You should buy a set of snow tires for winter driving. Most tire pros will recommend a slightly narrower than stock tire for snow tires in order to get better bite in the snow. You’ll need new wheels for the tires if you downsize, and a set of plain steel wheels will suffice and cost a lot less than custom wheels.
Honestly, a Mustang GT is a poor choice for a first car. Insurance will eat you alive if you are a male under 25 years old. Handling a high powered car on slippery roads even with good snow tires is asking for trouble for an experienced driver and a disaster for an inexperienced one.

the 2011 mustang gt has like 420hp and the 335i only has 300hp. so doesn’t it make sense that the gt would own the 335i? but then how come the 335i costs like twice the price of the ford mustang 2011 gt?

A: Those most likely going to take a while as they need to fabricate some headers for a turbo. A: Better at what? Both cars are built on the same platform, using many of the same parts, in the same factory. So the quality is going to be very similar.
One is going to be more powerful. The other is going to be more fuel efficient. One is going to cost significantly more money than the other.

However if you race them for 29 miles with only 1 gallon of fuel in the tank the V6 will blow the doors off of the Shelby because you will need to get out and push the Shelby for the last 6 miles. Advantage Base model V6.
The Shelby would suck if your budget allows for only a $28,000 car because the Shelby costs nearly twice as much as the V6. The base model V6 convertible costs about $27,000 while the Shelby convertible costs about $53,650. Keep in mind that insurance will be about double on the Shelby also.
Both cars do a good job of getting you from point A to Point B. The base model V6 has 305 HP which is more than adequate. More than enough power to get you speeding tickets and fast enough to get you put in jail.
I suggest you make a trip to your local Ford dealer. Look at both cars side by side. Take them out for a test drive. Then pick the one that best suits your budget and needs.

I am planning on getting a new car in a few weeks and I am stuck between the 2011 Subaru WRX which is about $26,000 and the 2011 Ford Mustang V6 which is about $23,000. While The 2011 Ford Mustang V6 is almost as powerful as last years GT and has a new aluminum 3.7 liter Duratec 24-valve V6 pumps out a healthy 305 horsepower and a respectable 280 ft-lbs of torque mated to a six speed manual transmission while getting 19 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. They both have 0-60 times of about 5 seconds or less. I just would like to know which is a better more reliable choice since I’ve read the Wrx isn’t reliable but I would like to know why? What problems do the WRX’S have? I will use the car as a daily driver here in Chicago. Which car would handle better and be more reliable? Please be detailed.
A: i would get the Ford. first of all its a mustang soooo… yeah awesome. The Ford will probably be more reliable and IF something does happen the parts and repair will generally be cheaper because its American made. While the Subaru is considered and import also its a compact so there are a lot of mechanics that dont really like working on them depending on what part of the US you live in. They just dont like them bc theres not much room in the engine area so it makes it hard to do even simple things like changing a belt drive. As for handling and such there shouldn’t be much of a difference until it starts snowing then bc the Mustang is rear wheel drive it can get away from you so just take it easy. not to mention if you were to put pipes on the car the mustang will sound like a beast rather than a hive of bees attacking.

Personally, I think the Grabber Blue is very “Smurf”
(and not in a good way) But I saw one with Black over-the-top stripes, and it looked pretty good.
The Red Candy (may be an extra charge color) is Beautiful. The metallic layers give it great depth.
But if it was for me, I would go very classy… Black with Satin Black stripes. There’s just a hint of contrast and the stripes look almost like a shadow. Very Classy!
